According to the dictionary, an "essay" is a "brief prose composition that presents ideas and opinions about a single topic," and that's what these are--apologetic essays. They are brief compositions, roughly 1,200 words, on critical issues of faith and relevant topics of culture, providing a unique Christian perspective.
Six topics are covered in this first series of essays:
The Dent in History: The Resurrection of Jesus Christ--did it happen?
Not a Good Book: Is the Bible the Word of God, and what evidence do we have for this claim?
The Sense of Suffering: If God exists, why does he allow evil and suffering, and why does he allow so much of it?
God & the New Science: The more science discovers, the more evidence for God, not the reverse. This essay reviews some of those discoveries.
Christianity and LGBTQIA+: An honest and open look at the question of compatibility. Does the LGBTQ worldview complement or contradict the Christian worldview?
Sympathy for the Devil: Does evil exist, and if it does, does its presence prove God's existence?
These booklets were produced as inexpensively as possible, with the goal of giving them away.
